I am pleased to announce that fellow Dayton son, Noah Falck and I’s collaborative chapbook, Prerecorded Weather, has won the 2022 James Tate Prize and is now available for purchase from SurVision Books (scroll down to find us).
I have some poems from my newest manuscript up at Banyon Review! (And by “newest manuscript,” I mean unpublished Word document). Check it out here!

I started an Instagram that is my amateur photography and will be reposts of self-promotional BS if I ever publish something again. I’m @at_the_mercy_of_the_flies. You’re welcome.
My latest chapbook, The Mourners Forget Which Funeral They’re At, has just been released by Greying Ghost Press! The Mourners… is a long poem in sections, which was a new format for me. I wrote the majority of it while I was living in China in the wake of my divorce. It’s a weird book to revisit now as I’m in such a different emotional landscape, but I’m glad this dark, weird little animal has breath. You can purchase a copy here.
The good people at Rust + Moth were nice enough to put one of my poems from “The Party” series up. Please check it out (along with the many other great poets) here.
